The colour of the offspring of panther chameleons varies considerably.
It is rarely possible to predict the final adult coloration while the male is still young; at less than a year the colours
are subject to change. Even past maturity the colours can still change - our once green male is now primarily orange
but has been this way only since he has been two years old.
The following photographs show males from the same batch of eggs
or those closely related. The colours have ranged from almost classic Nosy Be blue to deep green to red spotted grey.
